Bashir Kalayeh, PharmD, RPh

Bashir Kalayeh, PharmD, RPh is the National Director of Health Economics & Outcomes Research (HEOR) at Bayer Pharmaceuticals. Dr. Kalayeh earned his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Missouri–Kansas City and his Doctor of Pharmacy from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. He also completed the Certificate in Health Economics from the CHOICE Institute at the University of Washington. His primary research interests focus on comparative efficacy and safety in cardiovascular, renal and oncology care, as well as cost-utilization and cost-effectiveness analysis. Dr. Kalayeh leads Bayer’s Portfolio HEOR strategy, Field HEOR deployment, and implementation across the organization, and serves as the senior mentor for the University of Washington–Bayer HEOR Fellowship Program.
