Call for Speakers Now Open

Catalyst for Health, a CQC Forum brings together leaders, innovators and implementers from across California’s health care ecosystem to share strategies, build relationships and tackle the state’s most pressing challenges annually. The 2026 forum will center on the theme Where Ingenuity Meets Impact, exploring how stakeholders can achieve greater impact with limited resources through innovation, collaboration and practical solutions.

Why Participate

Speaking at Catalyst for Health 2026 is an opportunity to showcase your work, share proven strategies and connect with a statewide network of health care leaders. Presenters gain visibility among decision-makers and changemakers while contributing to meaningful conversations that shape the future of care in California.

Who Should Submit

We welcome proposals from individuals and organizations across the health care ecosystem, including those working at the intersection of care delivery, policy, community engagement and innovation.

Session Formats

We invite a range of session formats, including panels, case presentations, interactive workshops and creative approaches that foster dialogue, peer learning and practical takeaways.

Sessions should be designed for a 60-minute time slot (e.g., ~30 minutes of presentation + ~30 minutes of discussion).

2026 Focus Areas

Proposals should address one or more of CQC’s priority areas:

  • Advancing value-based care through multi-payer alignment, care team support, accountable care models or aligned measures and reporting
  • Enhancing behavioral health access and outcomes through integration, coordination or innovation across care settings
  • Improving postpartum care and maternal mental health through stronger connections between maternity, behavioral health and primary care
  • Using demographic and patient-reported data (e.g., REaLD, SOGI, PROs) to understand disparities and drive meaningful change
  • Addressing social needs through creative partnerships between health care organizations and community-based entities
  • Strengthening cross-sector collaboration, including data sharing strategies, to advance health equity and address root causes of health disparities

Review Process

Proposals will be reviewed and scored by a committee of CQC team members and Steering Committee representatives. Selected sessions will be chosen based on relevance to the theme, alignment with focus areas, clarity of objectives and potential for audience engagement.

Prospective speakers should complete our proposal submission form here.

Please note: CQC may combine proposals on similar topics into a single session to maximize audience engagement and create a more cohesive program.

  • Call for Proposals Open: September 1 – October 15, 2025
  • Proposal Review: October 15 – October 31, 2025
  • Speaker Notification: By November 20, 2025
