CQC Webinar: Impactful Interventions to Advance Health Equity
Lessons from the EQuIP-LA Initiative (2023-2025)
On August 20, 2025, the California Quality Collaborative (CQC) hosted a webinar highlighting key insights from EQuIP-LA, a two-year initiative aimed at advancing health equity for Medi-Cal enrollees of color in Los Angeles. Through a community-based coaching model, EQuIP-LA supported four organizations serving over 41,000 Medi-Cal patients—more than 30,000 of whom identify as people of color—to implement equity-focused quality improvement strategies in chronic disease management and preventive care.

- Heard directly from EQuIP-LA participants about the changes that led to meaningful impact
- Discovered practical strategies for embedding equity into quality improvement work
