CQC Improvement Coaching Workshop

CQC’s Improvement Coaching Workshop offers a deep dive into equity-centered quality improvement (QI), helping care teams and clinic staff translate ideas into clear, actionable improvement plans. This highly interactive, in-person training is led by CQC’s experienced faculty and equips participants with the skills to design—and move forward with implementing—a meaningful QI project.
Participants: The workshop is designed for care teams, providers, practice staff, practice coaches, transformation specialists, health plan staff supporting practice transformation and other quality improvement professionals.
Team participation encouraged: Groups of 2–5 participants benefit most. Group discounts are available.
Registration: $275. Register before 1/16/26 to receive Early Bird Pricing ($225).
What makes this workshop different: Participants receive guided pre-workshop preparation and post-workshop support to help advance their improvement projects. After the workshop, each attendee receives a certificate of completion and a virtual badge to share on LinkedIn.
Learning objectives: By the end of the training, participants will have achieved the following learning objectives:
- Explored how the Model for Improvement can be used to support equity-centered quality improvement
- Developed equity-centered quality improvement goals using SMARTIE principles
- Designed a measurement plan to monitor the impact of disparity interventions
- Conducted a root-cause analysis to identify change ideas
- Applied these skills by conducting a small test of change (PDSA cycle)

Food & Refreshments: Light breakfast, lunch and beverages will be provided throughout the day.
Faculty: Experienced CQC staff bring a real-world perspective to this training by offering lessons learned and challenges from prior quality improvement work in various health care delivery systems. Faculty take a learner-centered approach to the delivery of course concepts and tailor each training to the needs of participants.
