Reggie Barnes has a diverse background with experience in a variety of roles. As Director at the Autoimmune Registry, he put his skills in business strategy, advocacy, problem-solving, and leadership to work. He serves on the Advisory Committee for the California Pan-Ethnic Health Network, where he helps create a program to simplify healthcare financing, and he’s also an Ambassador for the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI). I’m a Community Advisor for the CHLA Precision Biobank Community Advisory Board and a Patient Advisor with the Brain Inflammation Collaborative, contributing to long-term research on how brain inflammation relates to mental health. He is part of the Policy and Advocacy Taskforce at NORD. Rare Disease Legislative Advocate for the EveryLife Foundation for Rare Diseases, pushing for policies that support rare disease communities. He has held several roles at the Partnership for Quality Measurement (PQM), including Co-Chairman, focusing on patient engagement in healthcare and reviewing quality measures.
