Overview

The Techniques to Engage Physicians workshop is a one-day workshop to learn effective methods for engaging physicians in improving care. The workshop includes how to present data, prepare physicians and team members for change, and conduct successful physician contacts and visits.

Objectives

• Understand the key principles underlying successful practioner engagement
• Learn and practice communication techniques shown to effectively engage practioners
• Learn what preparaton, data, and follow-up are necessary to initiate and maintain physician and staff engagement in improvement efforts
• Discuss the role of physician panel reporting in improving and sustaining performance
