CQC 2008 Events

The 2008 CQC program has several strategies to engage all physician groups, regardless of care management capabilities, to improve care and build stronger partnerships between plans, groups, and physician practices.

Here is a list of our current and upcoming events:

Optimizing Performance Skills Set Workshops

Engaging Physicians in the Objectives of the Organization
May 6, 2008 – San Gabriel Hilton
9:30 am - 4:00 pm

This workshop will examine barriers to implementing programs across physician groups and IPA networks and review strategies to improve engagement with physicians.  The session is designed to give for organizational leaders greater insight into how to stimulate change among practicing physicians. We will address the key motivators for physicians, some of which are not entirely consistent with medical group goals.  The session will look at how to frame organizational goals and objectives in terms meaningful and attractive to physicians.  The session will also explore how to make use of existing staff departments to influence physician engagement – such as utilizing network management, offering financial incentives, and revising contract language.
